YOUR COPY EDIT INCLUDES:

Mechanics style sheet

A style sheet is a record of all common mechanical changes made throughout the manuscript. Keeping a record of the changes helps the editor and author be consistent!

Examples: keeping track of how names are spelled, how dates are written out, whether or not you believe in the Oxford comma . . .

IN-TEXT EDITED MANUSCRIPT

Most important is the actual edited manuscript. All copy edits will be tracked changed so you can either accept or reject the changes. Nothing will be tweaked without your approval!

I will provide two rounds of in-text edits for the author to review.

Do you accept payment plans?
Yes!
Editing your book is an investment, but it doesn’t have to break the bank too. I’m happy to build payment plans that respect your project budget.
How much does copy editing cost?
$0.02 per word
Every manuscript is different and requires various levels of work, so I charge based on the amount of content I'll be working with.
What are your prices based on?
The EFA
All of my prices are based on the recommendation of the Editorial Freelancers Association. Prices are inclusive of both the actual manuscript edits and the extra editing goodies!
